1. Who is eligible for counselling?
Answer:
All shortlisted candidates. (Selected and Chance Memo candidates of both General
and Special Category List).
2. When to do counselling?
Answer:
All shortlisted candidates (selected List, Chance Memo List and Special
Category List) will have to undergo their counselling in the first round.
3. When will the Chance
Memo/Waiting List candidates have to get their counselling done?
Answer:
During the first round of counselling.
4. When will my counselling start?
Answer:
Check your counselling schedule for your course on the official website.
5. What is the mode of counselling?
Answer:
Online only.
6. What are the steps involved in
counselling?
Answer: Registrations, Login, Documents Upload, Fee Payment.
7. If my name is in the chance memo
then how will I know that my chance memo has been cleared?
Answer:
After counselling you have to check the Firm List-I, II and III regularly as
per the counselling schedule.
8. When do I have to pay my entry
fee?
Answer:
Your counselling portal will automatically show the fee payment when your roll
number appears in the firm list. Then you have to submit your admission fee as
per the counselling schedule.
9. When will my admission
formalities be completed?
Answer:
When you have paid your admission fee on the counselling portal. Then download
your admission card and admission fee slip.
10. Can we do counselling in second
or third round also?
Answer: Yes. But you may have to face some big loss.
11. What are the steps involved in counselling?
Answer:

III. (A) Document Upload (Scanned/Photo, both sides)
III. (B) Exercising of Choices and its locking (wherever required)
III. (C) Submission of Choices and the Uploaded documents.
IV. Re-submission of documents (if required) as per verifier(s) report.
V. Payment of requisite Admission Fee, if offered admission.
12. My original mark sheet has not arrived yet, I only have the mark sheet downloaded from the internet. How do I get my counselling?
Answer: Take a color print of your internet downloaded mark sheet and get it attested with a seal and signature by the principal of your school/college. Also download an undertaking form (Click here to download undertaking form) for the mark sheet downloaded from the internet and take a printout and fill it completely. Now create a two-page PDF containing your marksheet on the first page attested by your school principal and the undertaking on the second page and upload this PDF in the marksheet column. Now create a separate PDF of one page only for the undertaking and upload it in the OTHER column and rename as undertaking.

Candidate is MANDATORILY required to Upload the following colour scanned copies
(both sides, if back side is not blank) of his/her documents as given below.
1. Class X/High School Certificate in support of date of birth.
2. Mark sheet of all examinations passed up to the Qualifying Examination for the concerned course of study.
3. Mark sheet(s) (all semesters/parts/transcript) of Qualifying Examination for the concerned course of study.
4. Special Category Certificates, if applicable.
Explanation:
A candidate short-listed for a Post-Graduate (PG) level course like MBA/MA/M.Sc/M.Tech. will be required to submit all mark sheets up to Graduation (i.e. X, XII or equivalent & Graduation). Similarly, a candidate short-listed for a Under-Graduate (UG) level course like B.A./B.Sc./B.Tech/B.Com. will be required to submit all mark sheets up to Class XII (i.e. X & XII). Similarly, if a candidate is short-listed for Class-XI (Science, Arts and Commerce) and Diploma in Engineering will be required to submit mark sheet of Class-X.
A Candidate who has been
short-listed for counselling/admission to a course of study under Special Category as claimed by
him/her will have to upload relevant documents justifying his claim in the
concerned category, failing which he/she will not be considered for admission
under the Special Category concerned.
Candidate may also upload the
following colour scanned copies (both
sides) of his/her documents as given below.
1. Migration Certificate
2. Mark sheets of other examinations passed, if any.
3. No-objection Certificate/Leave Sanction Order, if applicable.
4. Any other relevant Document (e.g. GATE Certificate for admission to M.Tech. Programme)
5. The permissible file format for uploading photo and signature are: jpg, jpeg, bmp, etc., while permissible format for uploading documents are: pdf, jpg, jpeg etc.
